Shortly after NVIDIA revealed their RTX 30 series graphics cards yesterday, ROG followed up with an announcement of their own: the Meta Buff gaming lineup.
Apart from the new ROG RTX 30 Series graphics cards, the brand also unveiled a series of peripherals that aim to "upgrade your gaming experience with meta buffs."
ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN and PG259QNR gaming monitors
In case you missed out on NVIDIA's landmark keynote (you can read our recap here), you'll be glad to find out that new 360Hz refresh rate G-Sync monitors are making their way to the market, with ASUS ROG as one of the early adopters.
The ROG Swift PG259QN and PG259QN R gaming monitors boast 24.5" FHD Fast IPS panels, which are 4 times faster than conventional IPS panels. Apart from superfast 1ms GTG response times, the monitors are also HDR10 compatible and feature the revolutionary Reflex Latency Analyser tool and an ROG Desk Mount Kit.
ROG Swift PG329Q gaming monitor
The ROG Swift PG329Q is a 32" (2560 x 1440) 175Hz gaming monitor that features Fast IPS panel technology and is the world’s first NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible gaming monitor with variable overdrive. It also features Quantum-dot technology with factory color
pre-calibration, DisplayHDR™ 600 certification, 98% DCI-P3 and 160% sRGB colour gamut coverage. ASUS' Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB Sync) technology also eliminates motion blur without sacrificing variable refresh rates.
ROG Strix XF 120 cooling fan
The ROG Strix 120-mm 4-pin pulse-width modulation (PWM) cooling fan delivers 62.5 cubic feet per minute (CFM) airflow and 3.07mm H20 static pressure. It also features a small fan hub that provides more space for airflow, while the aerodynamic fan blades and curvature of the frame struts help direct air throughput to minimize turbulence and maximize airflow.
It also boasts magnetic levitation technology that reduces friction and noise and an extensive operating range of 250 to 1800 RPM. As for lifespan, it claims to have 400,000-hour longevity.
ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 gaming router
The ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 is the world’s first WiFi 6E router. WiFi 6E technology takes advantage of the newly available radio spectrum in the 6GHz band, which has three times more bandwidth than the 5GHz band.
With a tri-band design and 802.11ax WiFi 6E connectivity, the ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 supports speeds of up to 11,000 Mbps and features WAN aggregation for WAN speeds of up to 2 gigabits per second.
With 4x4 WiFi 6 and a 2.5 gigabit-per-second LAN port, both wired and wireless networks can achieve speeds of more than 1 gigabit per second, bringing true multi- gigabit performance to life.
ROG Strix Scope RX keyboard
In a first for the brand, ROG has debuted their own ROG RX Red Optical Mechanical switches on the ROG Strix Scope RX keyboard. These switches are the first in the world to feature a hollow-square stem design with embedded RGB LEDs for all-round per-key lighting.
Optical mechanical switches provide an advantage in the form of near-zero debounce delay as well as prolonged longevity due to reduce mechanical wear and tear.
The Strix Scope RX also features IP56 dust and water resistance, an extended Ctrl key, USB 2.0 passthrough, as well as a Stealth key to instantly hide all apps and mute audio in case your mum walks in on you during private time.
ROG Keris Wireless mouse
With a very Malaysian-inspired name, the ROG Keris Wireless gaming mouse is extremely light and nimble at just 79 grams. It boasts "the perfect mouse shape" and tri-mode connectivity, which allows gamers to choose between 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth LE, or wired USB connections.
The sensor has 16,000 dpi sensitivity, 400 ips and 40g, while the mouse itself features swappable side buttons that come in different colors for more customization options.
ROG Scabbard II mouse pad
To accompany the new mouse, of course there must be a new mouse pad. The ROG Scabbard II is an extended gaming mouse pad with a military-grade nano-coating that repels water, oil and dust. It also features anti-fray, narrow-stitched edges and a non-slip rubber base.
ROG Delta S headset
The ROG Delta S gaming headset features the hi-fi-grade ESS 9281 CODEC with QUAD DAC™ technology, and is the first gaming headset with Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) technology.
It also comes with the ASUS AI noise-canceling microphone and exclusive ASUS Essence drivers. Weighing in at just 300 grams, the ROG Delta S also features a USB-C connector and Aura Sync compatibility.
