Not long ago, Facebook announced the global rollout of Messenger Rooms, which allow free video calls for up to 50 people at one time.
Now, screenshots published by WABetaInfo have suggested that Messenger Rooms will be directly integrated into WhatsApp in a number of ways. You will be able to access Rooms via the share menu, as well as in the call section of Whatsapp.
As WhatsApp and Facebook are owned by the same company, it's not surprising that more cross-platform integration is rolling out to ensure a more seamless user experience for all.
Currently, the update is only limited to beta users in selected countries, but is expected to expand to other countries soon. Do note that it is available for Android users only, with an iOS update expected to follow.
