Danganronpa Creator New Action RPG game 'Tribe Nine' gets Gameplay Trailer!

Akatsuki Games and Too Kyo Games has recently released a Trailer for their upcoming free-to-play Action RPG game titled 'Tribe Nine' dubbed the Shinagawa Chapter.



In the trailer, the gameplay utilises on small character sprites in order to move throughout the terrain, and the moment you bump into an enemy, it switches to a more 3D battle sequence where players utilise their abilities and techniques in order to beat them. Furthermore, the game's art style is reminiscent to the art style that is used by the Danganronpa series and its creator.


Tribe Nine also features a wide casts of voice actors playing the roles of the characters in the game, with many well known ones taking part in the game as well such as Junichi Suwabe, Shoya Chiba, and Akira Ishida.



The game is a story about how players who are transported to Neo Tokyo, a vibrant, futuristic city ruled by intense, life-or-death games. Set in the year 20XX, the story tells the tale of a group of teens battling in order to reclaim their freedom and dreams that were robbed from them. Players will be able to control a party of three characters, each with their own respective characteristics and skills. Explore the bustling city, engage in fierce combat and uncover the truths regarding the mysterious city. The dynamic combat system allows for real-time responses from ally units, including luring enemies and healing allies, and the thrilling combo attacks that can be unleashed by all three party members.


Although there has been no release date, Tribe Nine is set to be released on iOS and Android devices and PC via Steam as a free-to-play title.
