vivo Malaysia Launches "Shoot Beyond What You See" Challenge for Merdeka with X300 Ultra

In celebration of Malaysia's 69th Merdeka, vivo Malaysia has officially launched its nationwide "Shoot Beyond What You See" Challenge, inviting Malaysians to rediscover iconic landmarks through the lens of the new vivo X300 Ultra.


Running from 3 August to 31 August 2026, the campaign encourages participants to photograph famous Malaysian landmarks from unique long-distance perspectives using the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra.


Designed to showcase the smartphone's advanced imaging capabilities, the telephoto accessory supports focal lengths ranging from 400mm to 8100mm, making it possible to capture distant landmarks with remarkable clarity.

Participants are invited to visit any location of their choice, capture a well-known Malaysian landmark from afar, and share their photos on social media using #MyPerspectiveofMY while tagging the shooting location.


The campaign aims to celebrate Malaysia's diversity by encouraging people to see familiar places from fresh perspectives. Whether it's fitting the PETRONAS Twin Towers and Genting Highlands into a single frame or photographing Merdeka 118 from miles away, the challenge highlights how mobile photography continues to push creative boundaries.

Alongside the photography campaign, vivo Malaysia is also offering exclusive SPayLater promotions at selected vivo Concept Stores in Penang, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru. Promotions include:

  • RM100 rebate with a minimum spend of RM1,000

The "Shoot Beyond What You See" Challenge runs throughout August, giving Malaysians an opportunity to celebrate Merdeka while exploring the country through a different lens.
