ROG G1000 Flagship Gaming Desktop Lands in Malaysia at RM29,999, With RM2,650 Bundle Savings

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia has officially launched the ROG G1000 flagship gaming desktop, bringing its new AniMe Holo visual system, dedicated ROG Thermal Atrium cooling architecture and flagship AMD and NVIDIA hardware to the Malaysian market.

The ROG G1000 is available now at RM29,999, while an exclusive ASUS e-Store bundle pairs it with the ROG Strix OLED XG32UQWMS gaming monitor for RM32,999, representing RM2,650 in savings compared to the combined MSRP of RM35,649.

A Gaming Desktop Designed to Be Seen

One of the biggest highlights of the ROG G1000 is AniMe Holo, which ROG describes as the world's first holographic fan system featured in a pre-built gaming desktop.

Rather than relying solely on conventional RGB lighting, AniMe Holo uses full-colour holographic projectors integrated into large high-density LED fans.

The side panel features a massive 380mm holographic fan with 720 LEDs, while the front of the chassis houses another two 215mm fans with 404 LEDs each.

With support for 16.77 million colours and integration with Armoury Crate, users can customise the system with animations, static images, text and system information.

The result is a desktop built not just around performance, but also around becoming the visual centrepiece of a gaming setup.

ROG Thermal Atrium Gives the CPU Its Own Cooling Chamber

ROG has also introduced a new thermal architecture called the ROG Thermal Atrium.

The system places the 420mm AIO liquid cooler and three 140mm intake fans inside a dedicated chamber, separating CPU cooling from the heat generated by other components inside the main chassis.

This allows the CPU cooler to continuously draw fresh ambient air.

According to ROG, the Thermal Atrium design can reduce CPU intake temperatures by up to 16°C, helping improve thermal stability during extended gaming sessions and demanding workloads.

The ROG G1000 also introduces a Tri-zone Airflow design, with separate cooling paths for the CPU, GPU and power supply.

The GeForce RTX 5080 draws cool air through front and bottom intakes, while the PSU receives its own independent airflow path beneath the chassis.

Ryzen 9 9950X3D Meets GeForce RTX 5080

Inside, the ROG G1000 is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, featuring 16 cores, 32 threads and AMD's 3D V-Cache technology.

Graphics are handled by an ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 OC Edition, positioning the system for demanding AAA gaming as well as intensive creative workloads.

The Malaysian configuration also includes:

  • 64GB DDR5-5600 memory

  • 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD

  • AMD X870 chipset

  • Four DDR5 U-DIMM slots supporting up to 128GB RAM

  • Four M.2 storage connectors

  • Six SATA 6Gbps ports

  • Wi-Fi 7

  • Bluetooth 5.4

  • 2.5Gb Ethernet

  • Dual USB4 Type-C ports

  • 1000W 80+ Gold power supply

Despite arriving as a high-end pre-built system, the G1000 retains plenty of room for future memory and storage expansion.

An Ultra Tower Built for a Serious Gaming Setup

The ROG G1000 uses a 104-litre ATX Ultra Tower chassis, measuring 290 x 582.7 x 614.8mm and weighing approximately 40kg.

That substantial footprint gives ROG enough room to accommodate the dedicated Thermal Atrium chamber, oversized AniMe Holo fans and extensive internal cooling architecture.

In other words, this isn't exactly the PC you'll be moving between rooms every weekend.

Instead, it is clearly designed as the permanent centrepiece of a high-end gaming or creator setup.

Malaysia Price and Exclusive ASUS e-Store Bundle

The ROG G1000 is available now in Malaysia for RM29,999.

For gamers building out an entire flagship setup, ASUS is also offering an exclusive bundle through its e-Store.

The bundle includes:

ROG G1000 + ROG Strix OLED XG32UQWMS gaming monitor

Bundle Price: RM32,999

The combined MSRP is RM35,649, giving buyers a total saving of RM2,650.

The ROG G1000 is also backed by a three-year on-site warranty in Malaysia.

More Than Just Flagship Specs

There are plenty of gaming PCs that can pack a Ryzen 9 and RTX 5080.

What makes the ROG G1000 more unusual is how much attention ASUS has placed on everything surrounding those components.

Between the dedicated Thermal Atrium cooling chamber, tri-zone airflow system and massive AniMe Holo displays, the G1000 is designed to be as much a showcase piece as it is a high-performance gaming machine.

At RM29,999, it certainly sits firmly in enthusiast territory, but for gamers who want a flagship pre-built system that immediately becomes the centrepiece of their setup, the ROG G1000 is now officially available in Malaysia.
