The upcoming OnePlus 8T will be revealed on 14 October, but if you were hoping to see a OnePlus 8T Pro as well, you should remove those expectations.
As reported by Android Community, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau said on Weibo that there will not be a OnePlus 8T Pro this year. Instead, he recommended fans to get the One Plus 8 Pro instead if they were after a premium device.
The OnePlus 8T’s predecessor, the OnePlus 7T, did receive a Pro version, But as Android Community noted, the OnePlus 7T Pro didn’t feature much of an improvement from the OnePlus 7 Pro.
Meanwhile, it seems that the OnePlus Nord series is getting a new entry this year, based on a teaser on Instagram. According to Times Now, the upcoming Nord device is rumoured to be called the Nord N10 and will have a 6.49-inch Full HD+ display and a 90Hz refresh rate.
The Nord 10 also purportedly packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage, along with a a 64MP main sensor, 8MP wide-angle lens, and two 2MP auxiliary sensors. It will reportedly cost US$400 (RM1.663).
As for the OnePlus 8T, OnePlus has so far highlighted its 120Hz display and “Warp Charge 65” fast-charging technology.
