A new OnePlus forum post highlighted the upcoming One Plus 8T’s fast-charging technology.
Dubbed the "Warp Charge 65", the tech is apparently capable of fully charging the OnePlus 8T’s 4500mAh battery in 39 minutes. Meanwhile, 15 minutes of charging will get it close to 58%.
To manage the heat, a “new heat dissipation system” will be part of the phone. The post also mentioned that the charger and cable have an additional encryption chip and that the phone has 12 temperature sensors.
The charger will have a “dual-end Type-C” port design and supports up to 45W PD fast charge. According to a PC Mag interview, the phone won’t have wireless charging.
It was previously revealed in an earlier forum post that the One Plus 8T would have a 120Hz display. Meanwhile, Android Central said that it had learned from sources that the phone would have a four-camera rear setup consisting of a 48MP primary lens, a 16MP wide-angle module, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP portrait lens.
A full official reveal of the phone will take place on 14 October.
