Selangor Red Giants OG Esports Continue Domination as they Remain Undefeated during Week 3 of MPL Malaysia!

Selangor Red Giants OG Esports (SRG) maintained their spotless record (eight games won with none lost) and place at the top of the table in Week 3 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Malaysia Season 15 Regular Season. They are now one 2-0 win away from qualifying to the Playoffs and one step closer to the new Season 15 trophy, the MPL Immortal Cup!

SRG’s Mid Laner, Hazziq "Stormie" Rizwan, delivered a standout performance to lead the reigning MPL Malaysia champions to a dominant 2-0 win over TODAK in their only match of the week. Showcasing his "Mage Prodigy" reputation, Stormie debuted the newly revamped MLBB hero Kimmy and swiftly earned MVP honors.

In addition to their victory, SRG celebrated another milestone as Roamer Muhammad "YumS" Suhairi became the league's all-time assist leader with 2,006 assists—surpassing former record holder Xorn. Notably, YumS reached this feat against his former team, TODAK.

The highly anticipated clash between SRG and TODAK featured Malaysia’s past and future WEC representatives. SRG, the 2024 WEC champions, skipped this year’s qualifiers to focus on MPL Season 15, allowing TODAK to qualify. Despite TODAK introducing new players Gebe and Magma from Alter Ego, they were unable to stop SRG’s dominance.

Meanwhile, Homebois (HB) also continued their strong campaign, sweeping Team Rey 2-0. With four wins out of four and only one game lost so far, HB look poised for a deep playoff run, led by in-form stars Melqt and Izanami. A clean win in their next match would secure them a playoff spot.

Team Vamos (VMS) staged two comeback victories in Week 3, edging out DX Soul (DXS) and Monster Vicious (MV) with 2-1 wins. Their clash with MV stood out for its strategic depth, with Jungler Muhammad Nazhan "Chibi" Mohd Nor playing a pivotal role on Ling to control the map and secure victory.

As Week 3 concludes, SRG remain at the top of the MPL Malaysia standings with 12 points, closely followed by Homebois (HB) with 11, and VMS in third with 9 points.

Week 4: The Royal Rumble!

Week 4 of MPL Malaysia promises high-stakes action as title contenders Homebois (HB), TODAK (TDK), and Team Vamos (VMS) face off in a mini round-robin, each team set to battle the others.

TDK, currently fifth with 6 points from two wins and two losses, aim to prove their worth as WEC 2025 representatives. They’ll be eager to upset the unbeaten HB and avenge their previous loss to VMS during WEC qualifiers.

The results of this trio's clashes could benefit table-toppers SRG, who may extend their lead—provided they maintain their flawless run and avoid slipping into complacency.

MPL Malaysia continues to be supported by KBS, Rakan Muda, ESI, MESF, and PSM.
