Razer Blade 14 Returns with AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX and RTX 3080

Razer has announced a new AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX-powered Razer Blade 14.


The new version of the gaming laptop pairs its AMD processor with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU, and sports up to a Quad HD 165Hz display with 100% DCI-P3 and AMD FreeSync Premium.


The Razer Blade 14 has 16GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. Aside from that, the laptop comes with a 720p webcam, IR sensor, THX Spatial Audio, and Razer Chroma RGB keyboard. Its ports include two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports. two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm jack.


The laptop, which has 0.66” x 8.66” x 12.59” dimensions, uses an aluminium chassis and has a matte black coating. For cooling, the laptop uses Razer’s vapor chamber cooling. Razer says that it offers up to 12 hours of battery life.

Aside from the Razer Blade 14, Razer also announced its first GaN charging device, the Razer USB-C GaN charger, which comes with two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports.

The RTX3080-equipped Razer Blade 14 has an MSRP of $2,799.99 (~RM11,522), while the Razer USB-C GaN charger has an MSRP of USD $179.99 (~RM741). The RTX 3060 and RTX 3070 versions of the laptop cost $1799.99 (~RM7,407) and $2,199 (~RM9,049) respectively. The RTX 3060 version comes with a Full HD display with 100% SRGB and FreeSync Premium instead of a Quad HD 165Hz display.


Both the laptop and charger are now available at Razer’s website and at RazerStore retail spots, while the former is also available at select retail partners. The RTX 3060 Razer Blade 14 is exclusive to Razer.com.
