Good news for Maxis Fibre users! Maxis will now be bundling Wi-Fi 6 routers with Maxis Fibre plans with speeds of 100Mbps and above. Existing users will also be contacted in phases for an upgrade, so don't worry about being left out.
Wi-Fi 6 is the latest Wi-Fi protocol, which supports higher speeds, better connectivity, and wider signal reach. This is especially fortuitous as more of us are now working and learning from home, thus increasing the need for a better internet experience.

The new routers will also come with EasyMesh, which allows users to add on more routers to create a mesh network that eliminates dead zones and ensures that you get unfettered internet connectivity in every corner of your home.
Maxis specialists - aptly called 'Maxperts' - will also provide free installation of the router to ensure that users experience the best possible connectivity in their homes.
The Wi-Fi 6 router upgrade will begin rolling out today.
