Thailand’s ZIGMA has emerged as the champions of the ROG Masters 2021, taking home the top prize of US$10,000. Additionally, ZIGMA player CigaretteS_ finished the tournament with a kill-to-death ratio of 1.81, the highest in the event.
ZIGMA battled the Philippine’s Expendables for the top spot in the Asia Pacific
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament. The final match lasted for over two hours, with ZIGMA taking the win with a 2-1 score.
The first round took place on Overpass, with ZIGMA winning 16-10. The second round took place on Mirage and saw Expendables turning the tide with a 14-9 score. However, the odds swung back in ZIGMA’s favour in the final round on Inferno, with ZIGMA winning 16-9.
En route to the finals, ZIGMA had defeated Korea’s Four Seasons Gaming and Indonesia’s Fortez. For the semifinals, ZIGMA battled Singapore's Huat Zai and went 2-0.
