YouTube is now rolling out Youtube Shorts globally, with the beta version now available in Malaysia.
Youtube Shorts is a YouTube feature that allows users to create clips of up to 15 seconds, similar to its competitor TikTok. Malaysian creators will now have access to the Shorts creation tools, including a multi-segment camera for putting multiple video clips together. Users can also adjust the speed setting, add captions to Shorts, record music, and more.
Soon, users will be able to access YouTube Shorts via desktop or the mobile app. It will be rolled out in phases so do note that not everyone might receive the new update at the same time.
