Xiaomi is expected to launch the new Mi Pad 5 this year, supposedly packing a Snapdragon 800 processor and a 120 Hz refresh rate display.
Today, a new leak came in the form of CAD renders, shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo. The renders show the appearance of the tablet’s accessories - a keyboard and a cover accessory.

The renders show that the keyboard will play the role of a cover casing for the tablet. It comes with a squarish cut-out for the rear camera and a stylus slot, which means it will support a cylindrical-design stylus pen, a first for a Xiaomi device.

Meanwhile, the keyboard has island-keys without a trackpad. The case has four grooves that lock the rear cover case onto it and uses pogo pins to connect the Mi Pad 5 to the keyboard.
As of now, there is still no official information about the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5’s tech specs or when it will be available in Malaysia.
