Virtus.Pro Benches Cooman, Will Confirm Final Roster Later This Month

Moments before the CIS and European division of the ESL One Los Angeles online league kicked off last Saturday, Virtus.Pro announced a sudden roster swap.

Zaur "Cooman" Shakhmurzaev will be benched for the duration of this tournament, with Igor "iLTW" Filatov taking his place as a standin.

Cooman was picked up by VP in February this year, with WePlay! Mad Moon being his first tournament with the team.

Unfortunately, they placed third in that tournament after getting defeated by Team Nigma, and followed up with a series of disappointing performances in the Parimatch League Season 2 and the WeSave! Charity Play tournament, where they placed 2nd and 7-8th respectively.

"Since we can’t deem our latest results satisfactory, we’re continuing to experiment with possible lineups."

- Sergey Glamazda, Virtus.Pro General Manager

Glamazda confirms that will announce the final decision regarding Virtus.Pro's lineup later this April.
