OPPO has announced that its new flagship Find X5 Pro will be among the first batch of smartphones to receive the Android 13 Beta 1 update. With that, the company will be releasing a new ColorOS developer preview based on Android 13 Beta 1 to give details on new features and changes.
Android 13 focuses more on privacy and security with features like a new notification permission photo picker, APIs like themed app icons, quick settings tile placement, and per-app language support, as well as Bluetooth LE audio and MIDI 2.0. Previously, we also reported that the first beta adds new permissions for more granular access to media files, improved audio routing APIs, and more.
The developer's version of ColorOS based on Android 13 can be found here. OPPO's FInd X5 Pro will arrive in Malaysia on 18 May with a custom MariSilicon X chip and a dual IMX766 camera system. It will also support 80W SuperVOOC flash charging.
