The remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has run into trouble, with reports saying it might be delayed indefinitely.
According to a Bloomberg report, Aspyr Media, the developer, had produced a demo of the game at the end of June , showcasing to Lucasfilm and Sony executives.
However, the executives were reportedly not pleased with either the state of the demo, or the amount of time and money spent in creating it.
This has also put the game's release into question. Aspyr had said internally that the game would have projected to release by the end of the year. However, developers now believe that launching in 2025 is more realistic.
While news of a highly anticipated remake to one of the best role-playing games will be disappointing for many people, we can only hope that the delay can help create a much better product. Even if we have to wait an extra 3 more years for it.
