The Visions of Mana game is set to be the first installment of the mainline Mana series on consoles in more than a decade! This game also marks the game's first launch on the Xbox, and the game can be played via PC and PlayStation 5 as well.
The revival of this gaming franchise is said to be a fresh start for the series as new players will be able to pick it up without any prior experience. Though, it will make sure that it includes the fighting features that captures the spirit of the Mana series, such as aerial combat, and the assistance of Elementals to battle alongside players.
The game will also include an adaptive music system which seamlessly transitions between in-and-out of combat. Furthermore, a new travel companion is said to accompany the player on their journey, a dog-like creature named Pikul.
This revival boasts aerial combat, and the series familiar Elementals will return to assist the player and allow for flexible fighting styles. The game’s soundtrack was also mentioned to feature an adaptive music system that seamlessly transitions the game in and out of combat while still keeping the Mana flair and having a tracklist of 100 songs. A new creature is the Pikul, a companion that assists with traversal.
Similarly like the Demo version of the game, the finalised game is set to be released on multiple platforms from August 29th 2024!
