Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Rumored to be More Efficient than All Qualcomm SoCs
Just days after Qualcomm announced the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset is rumored to be arriving at the end of the year.
According to tipster Ice Universe, the next-gen processor shows better results in efficiency than the Snapdragon 888, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The tipster also says that the gap between Snapdragon and Exynos will only grow so he thinks that Exynos chips have no reason to be produced at this point.
However, it's very unlikely that Samsung will stop making the Exynos chips as it has teamed up with AMD for the latest Exynos 2200, which has seen improvements despite still not being at the same level as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
