Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Chipset May Launch in H2 2022

A few days ago, we reported leaked news about the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, which reveals that it would feature four Cortex-A710 cores clocked at 2.36 GHz and four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz.

Now a new report suggested that the processor could use the Adreno 662 for graphics. We knew that it will not be as powerful as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, this one is expected to fall behind even the Snapdragon 870 in terms of performance.

No official word about the chipset nor its launch date is available yet but it's expected to be released in the second half of this year.
