According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Snapdragon 7 series SoC is expected to feature 4x Cortex-A710 CPU cores and 4x Cortex-A510 CPU cores along with an Adreno 662 GPU.
Based on the specs revealed, it is just a little behind the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset with a more powerful Cortex-X2 core. The tipster didn't mention who will be making the chips so it could either be based on Samsung's 4nm process or TSMC's 5nm process. If we follow Qualcomm's new naming system for its processors, this one should be called the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.
