At ISE 2022, Samsung unveiled its latest The Wall displays and Micro LED technology, introducing three new The Wall models.
2022 The Wall
The 2022 model of The Wall (model name: IWB) delivers immersive viewing experiences in 0.63 and 0.94 px pitches, with the former being the slimmest ever pixel pitch in the series. With a 120Hz frame rate, HDR10/10+, and LED HDR, The Wall offers a variety of screen sizes from 4K videos for 110-inch up to 8K movies for 220-inch. Samsung uses a powerful Micro AI processor to enhance the high-resolution capability, which analyzes every second of content instantly and optimizes picture quality while removing noise.
The display now comes with an increased overall size of the cabinets for a faster and more cost-efficient installation. In addition, it features several technologies such as Multi View and Black Seal technology. Multi View enables simultaneous multi-source playback from up to 4 different sources, all on the same screen. Black Seal technology delivers purer black levels with an ultra-reflective film to minimize external light reflection. The Wall also has a peak brightness of 2000 nits.
The Wall All-in-One
The Wall All-in-One (model name: IAB) comes in three models: 4K 146", 2K 146", and 2K 110", all in a 16:9 aspect ratio. It features a pre-adjusted seam and a 'pre-assembled frame kit', which includes an internalized deco bezel and an embedded media player S-box.
Measuring only 49mm thick, The Wall All-in-One also supports 20-bit processing, Black Seal technology, and Micro AI processor. Users will be able to install two 4K 146" screens side by side to create a 32:9 form factor with a detachable feature.
Apart from the 2022 models of The Wall, Samsung has also showcased a new outdoor lineup with the model name OHA, available in 55" and 75" sizes. The outdoor displays are verified for outdoor visibility by UL (Underwriters Laboratories) and have IP56 dust and water resistance rating.
Lastly, the new 2022 Samsung Flip Pro (model name: WMB) is an interactive whiteboard that comes in 75" and 85" sizes. It now comes with a USB-C port for integrated video control and 65W power charging. There are also a newly added intuitive control panel, brightness control sensors, and 4 front and rear-facing speakers. It can be paired with up to 50 devices thanks to the SmartView+ feature.
