Alongside the launch of the Galaxy Watch4 series, Samsung has released its new premium foldables - the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G. The Galaxy Z Fold3 featuring a 7.6-inch Infinity Flex Display along with an S pen is suitable for multitasking whereas the Galaxy Z Flip3 comes with a sleek design with enhanced camera features.
Both smartphones are built durable with the Armor Aluminum and the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Additionally, they also have a protective film made of stretchable polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and optimised display panel layers, making the main screen 80% more durable than their predecessor. Both also have IPX8 water resistance rating. The smartphones are equipped with the Sweeper technology which results in shorter bristles in the Hideaway Hinge, allowing it to repel dust and other particles. The Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 are both equipped with a 5 nm application processor (AP) and a 5G band compatibility.
Galaxy Z Fold3 5G
The Galaxy Z Fold3 features the under-display camera technology and the new Eco display technology, which consumes less energy even with its 29% brighter screen. The display has a 120 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be the first foldable to function with the S Pen, allowing users to multitask on both screens. Samsung is offering two variants of S Pen for the smartphone: the S Pen Fold Edition and the S Pen Pro. Both S Pens are designed with tips that will protect the smartphone's screen. Other notable features of the Galaxy Z Fold3 are the Flex mode, Multi-Active Window, App Pair, and the new Taskbar. The Galaxy Z Fold3 has sleeker and lighter built compared to the Galaxy Z Fold2. It will be available in three colour variants: Phantom Black, Phantom Green, and Phantom Silver.
Galaxy Z Flip3 5G
The Galaxy Z Flip3 will be available in four colour variants: Cream, Green, Lavender, and Phantom Black. There will be exclusive colours available such as grey, pink, and white. Samsung is also offering accessories like ring grips and strap cases, which will be sold separately, for easier hold and fold of the device. Its redesigned cover screen is four times larger than the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. Samsung has also added new widgets on the cover screen.
With the Flex mode, users will be able to take selfies hands-free. Alternatively, the Quick Shot feature allows users to take pictures and record videos right from the cover screen by simply double-clicking the power key. Similar to the Galaxy Z Fold3, it has a 120 Hz refresh rate. For audio, the device has Dolby Atmos stereo speakers. It also has a Flex Mode Panel that makes apps look better and easier to use.
Galaxy Buds2
Alongside the Galaxy Z series smartphones, Samsung has launched the new Galaxy Buds2, the latest addition to its Galaxy Buds lineup. It features dynamic two-way speakers for crisp and clear high notes. It is also equipped with active noise cancellation technology to block out noises. Users can adjust the three ambient sound levels if they want to hear sounds from their surroundings. The Galaxy Buds2 will be available in four colour variants: Graphite, White, Olive, and Lavender.
