Samsung have recently announced the release of a brand new FE device for their Samsung Galaxy S25 series which was released earlier this year. The new FE edition for the Galaxy S25 is a device which serves an entryway into Samsung’s flagship lineup, offering many of the core features and premium design cues of the standard S25 at a more accessible price point. We were able to get our hands on the Galaxy S25 FE and here is our first impressions on this new device.

Design
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE comes with an ultra-slim and lightweight design, having a 7.4mm thickness as well as weighing 190 grams, and this makes it the thinnest and lightest FE phone that has been released yet. Though, despite its sleek appearance, the Galaxy S25 FE also comes with strong durability as it comes framed with an Enhanced Armor Aluminium build while also being equipped with a Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® for better protection.
Asides from that, the device also features an IP68 water and dust resistance, ensuring that users will not have to worry about water or dust entering the device.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is available in a wide range of colours to choose from, allowing them to go through which best suits their lifestyle and preferences, the options range from, Navy, Icyblue, Jetblack and White. The variant that I received was the Navy variant.
Display
When looking at the display for the device, the Galaxy S25 FE features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a refresh rate of 120Hz to provide users with an immersive viewing experience. Additionally, the screen’s peak brightness is up to 1900 nits, which is more than enough for a pleasant viewing experience while under the sun.

Camera
When looking at the camera for the Galaxy S25 FE, it comes with an impressive 50MP primary lens which is paired together with a 12MP Ultrawide camera and a 8MP telephoto camera. Also, to ensure that users will be able to capture stunning shots with amazing clarity and detail, the device is powered by the ProVisual Engine, utilising AI in order to enhance the photos that you have taken.

Battery
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE also comes with a battery life of 4900mAh, the largest in the FE series, and this will ensure that your device will be able to last the entire day without any fear of the phone running out of battery. In fact, users will be able to enjoy up to 28 hours of video playback with this device. Also, the device comes with 45W Fast Charging while also supporting a 15W wireless charging, and this will ensure users will be able to use their devices again in an instant. In fact, the device is able to reach up to 65% in just 30 minutes.

AI Features
When looking at the AI features for the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, it serves as a gateway for users in order to better understand and as an opportunity for users to learn about the AI features that the Galaxy S25 series has to offer.
The device offers many features that will not only benefit users, but also help carry out and make their tasks feel much easier to handle, such as Gemini Live, Photo Assist, Audio Eraser and Instant Slow-Mo. These features ensure that users will have a better experience whether it’s for refining audio quality, editing pictures or even conducting searches online.

Verdict
Overall, my first impression for the new Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is mostly on the positive side and it definitely serves as a good entryway for users who are looking to get the latest Samsung Galaxy S25 series but a cheaper alternative. Be sure to stay tuned as we will be releasing a full review article on this device shortly.
