Samsung Announces Galaxy Unpacked for Every Fan Event

Samsung has announced an upcoming event called Galaxy Unpacked for Every Fan, which will begin on 23 September at 10pm Malaysian time.

Not much else was revealed apart from that, aside from Samsung teasing a “next level of smartphone”. However, the event could be meant for the rumoured Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition.

SamMobile previously reported on the S20 Fan Edition’s existence back in June, saying that there would be three versions. According to the website, there will be a US-only SM-G781 model that comes with 5G support and a global SM-G780 model that will be available "with and without 5G". SamMobile also said that the phone would come with Android 10, One UI 2.5, and 128GB of internal storage.

Meanwhile, Business Insider wrote that the device may have a 6.4-inch 1080p display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 8GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 865 chipset, up to 512GB of internal storage, and a triple camera set-up for the back.

Samsung’s previous Galaxy Unpacked event was in August 2020. That event featured the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 Plus, Galaxy Watch 3, Galaxy Buds Live, and Galaxy Z Fold 2. We’ll have to wait till next week to see if Galaxy Unpacked for Every Fan will be as stacked.
