The long-awaited ROG Phone 6 series is finally coming as ROG announced its next gaming device will launch on 5 July. The ROG Phone 6 will be the world's first gaming phone to feature the recently announced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
The ROG Phone 6 series will launch on 5 July at 8pm Malaysia Time. Besides the gaming phone, ROG also teased some gaming accessories and gaming headphones set to launch at the event.
As the successor of last year's Phone 5 series, the ROG Phone 6 series will include the standard ROG Phone 6, ROG Phone 6 Pro, and the ROG Phone 6 Ultimate. All 3 devices will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which means they will show 10% improvement in both CPU and GPU performance and up to 30% better power efficiency compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
