After dabbling with abstract hipster aesthetics with last year's partnership with ACRONYM, ASUS Republic of Gamers is now going street-style with a new concept laptop designed exclusively for world champion skateboarder Nyjah Huston.
Unlike the ACRONYM edition Zephyrus G14, however, the Nyjah Huston Special Edition Strix SCAR laptop is one of a kind, created for the man himself and unavailable commercially. (It also looks much cooler, in my personal opinion.)
The box itself doubles as a skate park for fingerboards, two of which are included. Other design elements include city-inspired patterns, a mesh-like stainless steel Armour Cap, as well as smoky, translucent surfaces reminiscent of the use of X-rays to check for broken bones after falls.
On a more personal note, Huston's motto "'Til Death" is inscribed on the lid, along with several other inscriptions on both the front and back of the chassis.
The bundled peripherals have been given the special treatment as well, with the custom Strix Impact II mouse bearing a skull pattern to go along with the LED-edged desk mat. Included in the package is a UV flashlight that can be used to illuminate easter eggs on the laptop and the rest of the package.
