realme Malaysia has officially launched its new gaming flagship - the realme GT Neo2 - featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G processor, Stainless Steel Vapor Cooling Plus, and a 120 Hz E4 AMOLED display. It will be available for purchase starting from 11 November on realme's official stores on Lazada and Shopee at RM1,999.
Coming in NEO Green and NEO Blue, the device has a unique overlay of 7 nano-multilayers, giving it a smoother and scratch-resistant surface. Powered by the Snapdragon 870 5G chipset, it is equipped with 12 GB of RAM, which is expandable up to 19 GB. It features a 6.62" E4 AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits of peak brightness, and a 5,000,000:1 high contrast ratio.
The smartphone has 4 different refresh modes from 30 Hz for always-on-display (AOD) up to 120 Hz for a high-performance experience. Users can tweak the refresh rate at 30 Hz, 60 Hz, 90 Hz, and 120 Hz. It also has a 600 Hz maximum touch sampling rate.
For cooling, it uses the Stainless Steel Vapor Cooling Plus, which adopts the Diamond Thermal Gel as a layer for heat dissipation. realme has also increased the area of its stainless steel VC heatsink to 4129 mm², which covers 68% of the motherboard and 42% of the battery area.
Underneath the hood is a 5000 mAh battery, which supports the 65 W SuperDart Charge. It only takes 36 minutes for a full charge. For photography and videography, it sports a triple rear camera module comprising a 54 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide snapper, and a 2 MP macro lens.
The realme GT Neo2 will be available for RM1,999 on 11 November only and will retail at RM2,099.
