Razer's Futuristic Zephyr Smart Mask Is Now Available

Razer's transparent RGB wearable air purifier is now available for purchase for U$99.99 (~RM414), which includes the mask, a carrying tote, a USB-C charging cable, anti-fog spray, and three sets of replaceable N95 filters that will last you for 9 days of use in the basic kit.

The Razer Zephyr's filters are N95-grade and have 99% bacteria filtration efficiency. The mask is said to be able to filter 99% of air particles that are 0.3 microns in size. Razer claimed that the mask offers this level of protection for the air that you breathe in and out.

To install the filters, remove the magnetically attached caps of the two air valves and slot them in a filter with the black section facing the mask. There's one more filter that should be inserted underneath the see-through plastic window. Each of the N-95 filters can be used up for 72 hours. According to Razer, if you're spending a long time in a high-risk environment, you should replace the filters as soon as possible.

The fans near the filters can be turned on and toggled between two speeds: 4200 and 6200 revolutions per minute. While the Chroma RGB is for flex, it is customisable via the Razer Zephyr app. The mask also has a dual strap design that can fit all head sizes, with one fitting around your neck and the other having a fastening mechanism to secure around the back of your head. Unfortunately, it doesn't have voice amplifiers in order to reduce some weight, add bigger air valves, and extend battery life.

The Razer Zephyr supports Bluetooth connectivity and is compatible with both Android and iOS. While the first batch has been sold out, you can still sign up on Razer's website to be notified when the next one arrives.
