To celebrate Honkai: Star Rail's Two-Year Anniversary, Version 3.2 will feature special events and rewards. The "Festive Gifts" event offers 20 free pulls through daily check-ins. On April 26, players will receive a commemorative in-game card, 1,600 Stellar Jades, and a free 5-star character—either Ruan Mei or Luocha.

With Thanatos gone and Oronyx fallen, the Trailblazers follow Chrysos Heir Castorice to Styxia, a sunken city filled with dragon bones and wandering spirits. Guided by an ancient lantern, they uncover lost Titan history and a draconic catastrophe. However, they must also battle Pollux, a leviathan in the River of Souls, whose HP-manipulating attacks make survival a dire challenge.

Meanwhile, internal conflicts arise as Okhema’s Council of Elders seeks to halt the Flame-Chase Journey through a vote. The undead scholar Anaxa, kept alive by the Coreflame of Cerces, complicates matters with his secret dealings, hinting at a hidden alliance. As Styxia’s mysteries intertwine with Okhema’s political turmoil, the Trailblazers’ expedition becomes even more perilous.

As the Flame-Chase Journey intensifies, players will face greater challenges alongside two new 5-star allies—Castorice (Remembrance) and Anaxa (Erudition).
Among them, Castorice, the cursed daughter of the River of Souls, stands out with her tragic past. As a Chrysos Heir seeking the lost Coreflame of Death, she commands Netherwing, a spectral dragon formed from ancient memories and divine power. Upon using her Ultimate, Netherwing burns its own HP to unleash dragonflame upon enemies, syncing with Castorice for devastating joint attacks. Lost HP from allies fuels Netherwing, boosting its strength while taunting foes and shielding the team. If defeated, Netherwing erupts in a final blaze, dealing damage and healing allies.
Castorice also possesses a unique survival mechanic—when an ally receives a fatal blow, they enter a near-death state instead of falling immediately. Meeting specific conditions allows them to recover and continue fighting, even if Castorice isn’t in the team.

The highly anticipated 5-star character Anaxa will also join players' teams. A member of the Seven Sages of the Grove of Epiphany and founder of the Nousporism, Anaxa's life was irrevocably altered by the enigmatic black tide that stole so many things precious to him. This ordeal also reshaped his understanding of souls and the fabric of reality, driving him to dedicate himself entirely to scholarly pursuits with further vigor. In combat, Anaxa's attacks randomly apply Weaknesses to enemies. As these stacks reach a requisite amount on an enemy, he can trigger Qualitative Disclosure, a unique state that increases his damage and allows him to unleash a follow-up Skill Attack without consuming Skill Points. His Ultimate ability inflicts Sublimation on all enemies, instantly applying 7 Weaknesses to them.

Version 3.2 introduces a special Warp event with simultaneous reruns of Fugue, Jiaoqiu, and Acheron in the first half, followed by the return of Dr. Ratio in the second half. These powerful allies will enhance players' strategies in both exploration and combat.
Additionally, the developers announced upcoming character balance adjustments in Version 3.4, addressing player feedback. Silver Wolf, Blade, Kafka, and Jingliu will receive tweaks, with details to be revealed in future updates.
Beyond battles, players can enjoy the Seal Slammers mini-game—officially titled the "So Dang Fun Seal Bumping Duel Challenge Seal Slammers." In this chaotic event, Trailblazers compete against Chrysos Heir allies in high-energy seal-based collisions. Sponsored by Aglaea, this edition runs for an extended duration, ensuring plenty of time for lighthearted fun.
