Slightly Mas Studios’ first two Project Cars games will soon be delisted from digital storefronts.
In a statement shared on Twitter, the developer said that the delisting is due to expiring licenses for various cars and tracks. Project Cars 2 will be the first to be delisted on September 21st, followed by Project Cars 1 on October 3rd.
However, Slightly Mad clarified that both games will still be supported, and online races will continue to run. Players who downloaded the game before its delisting or own a physical disc version of the game can still play the game.
Delisting digital games have sadly become more common in recent times with the rise of digital storefronts. This becomes even more prevalent with games that are only available digitally, forever lost to time if delisted from an online store.
