Pokémon Takes Over LaLaport BBCC!

Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport BUKIT BINTANG CITY CENTRE (hereinafter referred to as the “LaLaport BBCC”) has kicked off the festive season with a special Pokémon-themed event, the LaLaport Pokémon Happy Holidays. Happening now until 4 January 2026, LaLaport BBCC invites fans and visitors of all ages to step into a world of Pokémon magic, where Pikachu and friends are ready to spark joy with fun-filled activities, games, and festive surprises.

Pikachu Special Appearance

In the coming five weeks, Pokémon takes centre stage at LaLaport BBCC with Pikachu being the main highlight of the event. Every weekend, fans can meet Pikachu up close during special Meet and-Greet sessions and catch the Walkabout appearances around the mall, spreading smiles and spontaneous fun.

Pokémon Hunting at LaLaport BBCC

LaLaport BBCC is introducing a festive Pokémon-themed hunt for shoppers, featuring a weekly Sticker Collection Quest. With a minimum spend of RM10, visitors can redeem a sticker booklet and collect eight new Pokémon stickers each week from participating stores—40 in total over five weeks. Completing the full set rewards participants with a limited-edition Pokémon sticker set.

Shoppers who buy Pokémon merchandise at the Pokémon Happy Holidays booths will also receive a postcard for collecting five exclusive stamps placed around the mall. Along the way, visitors can enjoy exploring various Pokémon photo spots, adding more fun to the holiday experience.

Pokémon Playtime

Pokémon enthusiasts can also enjoy free Pokémon Trading Card Game tutorials, where they will learn new battle strategies and gameplay tips. For those who prefer digital action, the Nintendo Switch 2 Pokémon Legends: Z-A game demo offers hands-on gameplay, giving fans a chance to experience the latest Pokémon adventure first-hand.

Holiday Shopping Treats

LaLaport BBCC is gearing up for the holidays with themed retail pop-ups offering official Pokémon merchandise and a nightly Pokémon Christmas tree light show at WoW Plaza. From 28 to 30 November, the mall will also host its first Black Friday Late Night Sale, featuring midnight shopping, major discounts, and exclusive Pokémon gifts for shoppers who spend RM500 or more.

These festivities follow the launch of ACG BASE, Mitsui Outlet Park BBCC—the country’s first city outlet—and new family attractions like Molly Fantasy. With more developments planned for 2026, LaLaport BBCC is set to become an even livelier lifestyle destination.
