The Pokémon Company will be launching its first-ever Pokémon Battle Festival Asia 2021 starting from November until the end of February 2022. The festival will feature regional tournaments for Pokémon GO and Pokémon Trading Card Game, as well as other titles like the upcoming Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl and Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
The tournaments will see players from Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan battling online. To qualify the regional stage, players must first qualify on a national level to compete against the others in the Asia region.
Alongside the tournaments, The Pokémon Company is hosting several programmes, including celebrity showmatches, fun segments, and special events featuring celebrities and influencers from multiple regions.
