PMS PHANTOM Crowned as PMCC 2021 Champion

As the PUBG Mobile Campus Championship 2021 concluded last weekend, PMS PHANTOM from Politeknik Muadzam Shah was crowned champion, clinching the title of Malaysia's best collegiate PUBG Mobile team.

Alongside PMS PHANTOM, second and third place winners, TFES NOVA from UniKL MIIT and BMI ESPORT from UNIKL British Malaysian Institute will join the PMCC SEA 2021, facing the best collegiate PUBG Mobile teams from Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Philippines.


"PMCC 2021 showcased an incredible display of talent and intense competition from every

single participating team. Congratulations and well done to PMS PHANTOM!" said Chow Tuck Mun, Head of Yoodo. "As the dominant telco in Malaysian esports, Yoodo is proud to lead this new generation of gamers to compete and shine on a regional level. We are all about uplifting local esports talent and getting to set these young gamers on the path to success is truly fulfilling."


The PMCC 2021 has seen a total of over 1000 participants from 344 teams from more than 200 institutions across the country. The grand finals, which was broadcast live on Yoodo's platforms, garnered over 1 million views.


Additionally, the PMCC 2021 also featured a Caster Search for the best aspiring commentator, with Mohd Izzat Najmi bin Safie (Xenpai) of University Malaysia Perlis and Mohammad Adib Adam bin Mohammad Nawawi (Dibo) of University Teknologi Mara announced as winners. Meanwhile, Nurul Zulaikha Najwa binti Aminuddin Zaki (Juju) and Nur Shameerina Asifa binti Mohammad Shamsul (Curry) from University Kuala Lumpur were selected as the Campus Ambassadors.
