In order to raise money for the ASPCA, a new PlayStation charity campaign is inviting gamers to bring in film of their pets watching Stray.
People who adore cats, many of whom have their own cats and dogs, came towards Stray right away because they were attracted by the simulated feline. The internet was flooded with footage of people showing off their dogs and cats watching TV, and PlayStation took note of this.
According to the post on Playstation.Blog, the company said that the game's reactions were so great that it discovered a way to turn the trend into something beneficial for pets. PlayStation contacted the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals(ASPCA), and now the company is ready to announce a $25,000 donation to the organization. Pet parents, on the other hand, are being asked to help, not with monetary donations, but with videos and images of their pets watching Stray being played.
Starting from now until September 23, 2022, simply tweet or Instagram pictures or videos of your cat, dog, or other pet reacting to or posing next to Stray gameplay on PlayStation with the hashtag #StrayReactions to participate along the event. At the end of submission window, PlayStation will gather the most interested feline videos and tail-wagging photographs into a digital photobook to be presented to the ASPCA along with a $25,000 donation. Some of the posts will also be included in a sizzle reel, which will be shared on our blog and social platforms.
