The ultra-slim OPPO Reno 5 and Reno 5 Pro are now available for pre-order in Malaysia.
Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G chip, the Reno 5 has a 6.4" FHD+ AMOLED 2.5D display with up to a 90Hz refresh rate and 430 nits of brightness. It has 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast-charging support, which is said to be able to provide four hours of power after five minutes of charging.
The rear has a quad-camera setup with a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra wide-angle camera, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP mono camera, while the front has a 32MP camera. For video-taking, the phone includes features like AI Highlight Video, Live HDR, Ultra Night video, Dual-view Mode, Portrait Beautification Video, Ultra Steady Video, and the Soloop video editor. The rear setup can shoot up to 4K 30FPS.

Storage-wise, the Reno 5 has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There are Starry Black and Galactic Silver options, which weigh around 172g and around 180g respectively.
For the Reno 5 Pro, some of its notable differences include its 6.5” 3D Curved Screen, 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage, 500 nits of brightness, Wi-Fi 6 support, and MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor.
The Reno 5 and Reno 5 Pro can be pre-ordered online or at OPPO physical stores for RM1,899 and RM2,599 respectively, with free gifts worth RM397 included until January 26. These include an OPPO Enco W11, OPPO phone case, and a one-year extended warranty.
