One Punch Man: World Early Review

The highly anticipated mobile game, "One Punch Man: World" developed by Crunchyroll Games, LLC, has been officially released today, marking an exciting moment for fans and gaming enthusiasts alike.

Exploration

The exploration and narrative elements bear a resemblance to Honkai: Star Rail, allowing players to select up to four characters and navigate through the base to initiate main story events or engage in sideline quests. The environment mirrors the interior of a battleship within the Heroes HQ, providing a familiar setting for players to immerse themselves in the game's world.

Combat System

The game's combat system draws parallels to Naruto Ninja Storm, emphasizing action-oriented gameplay with pressable buttons during cutscenes.

The unique skill utilization adds a layer akin to a rhythm game system, providing a fresh and diverse experience. Additionally, certain heroes feature parry mechanics, contributing to a distinct and varied gameplay style that sets it apart from more conventional fighting games.

Gacha

The character drawing system in the game bears resemblance to Mihoyo's gacha system, requiring players to engage in pulls and hope for the favor of the gacha gods in order to secure coveted SSR characters.

Customization

Just like in Honkai Star Rail, the game provides the opportunity to enhance and upgrade your character by acquiring the necessary items or through repeated draws.

Verdict

I find this game to be exceptionally well-crafted, and I'm delighted to see One Punch Man receiving the recognition it deserves, even amidst the anticipation for Season 3 of the anime. As a dedicated fan of One Punch Man, I personally love the game and eagerly anticipate its continued growth.
