Nintendo Spending More On Raw Materials Due To Supply Chain Issues

Nintendo has spent a considerable amount of money on procuring raw materials.

It sparked rumours that Nintendo is hard at work getting the Switch Pro, an enhanced version of the Switch, into production.

However, Nintendo explained that the procurement was for stocking up supplies.

According to a Q&A session in an investor’s briefing, company president Shuntaro Furukawa said they had spent 110 billion yen (RM 3.5 billion) between March 2021 and March 2022.

The company is stocking up on materials amid the ongoing supply chain issue in the tech industry.
