Three new Predator gaming monitors have been announced for a late 2021 release by Acer, with all three sporting VESA DisplayHDR certification.
The 42.5-inch Predator CG437K S is the largest of the three and offers a UHD display along with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 1ms VRB response time, a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, a Delta E<1 rating, 90% DCI-P3 color gamut, NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, and a VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification. It has a pair of HDM1 2.1 ports as well as a USB hub with a USB-B port, a pair of USB 2.0 ports, and a pair of USB 3.0 ports.
The Predator CG437K S also has Acer ColorSense, Acer LightSense, and Acer ProxiSense, as well as RGB lighting strips that “can be synced to music and media”.
Second in size is the 37.5-inch 2300R curved UWQHD+ Predator X38 S, which has an Agile-Splendor IPS display with a 175Hz overclocked refresh rate and a 0.3ms G-to-G response time. It also has a DCI-P3 98% wide color gamut, a Delta E<2 rating, and a VESA DisplayHDR 600 Certification.
Other features include eight pre-set but customizable display modes via Predator Game Mode, Acer LightSense, and Acer ColorSense, as well as NVIDIA G-SYNC Esports Mode, NVIDIA G-SYNC ULTIMATE, and NVIDIA Reflex Latency Analyzer.
Finally, the Predator X28, which also comes with an Agile-Splendor IPS display, offers a 28-inch UHD display with VESA DisplayHDR400 certification, a 155Hz overclocked refresh rate, Delta E<1 color accuracy, and a 1ms G-to-G response time. Its NVIDIA features include G-SYNC, G-SYNC Esports Mode, and Reflex Latency Analyzer, while its Acer features include LightSense, ColorSense, and ProxiSense. Other features include BlueLightShield Pro and TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe certification.
Acer hasn’t provided a Malaysian release date for the monitors, but they will be rolling out in North America, EMEA, and China at various months between July and November, with the Predator CG437K S being the last to release and the Predator X28 being the earliest. The Predator CG437K S will start at US$1,799.99 (~RM7,448.36), the Predator X38 S at US$1999.99 (~RM8,273.96), and the Predator X28 at US$1,299.99 (~RM5,378.06).
