Need for Speed Unbound will be released this December, bringing back underground vibes into the game

Graffiti visuals along with much more car customizations than its predecessor

The Need for Speed Unbound reveal trailer is released yesterday at 11.00 pm Malaysia time, what immediately catches your attention is the style. Unbound combines cel-shaded flair, characters, and scenery with photorealistic vehicles and environments. The game's rendering of tire smoke, which appears as two-tone, stippled plumes with notebook doodles rising from the skies, best illustrates this point.

This December 2, a new Need for Speed will be released on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with Criterion returning as the lead developer for the first time in almost ten years. The Need for Speed Unbound will be utilizing new-gen consoles and the Frostbite Engine to deliver 4K 60fps visuals in the free-roaming world called Lakeshore (fictionalized Chicago).

Aside from that, rapper A$AP Rocky not only appears on the game's soundtrack that played over the trailer but also being a character in-game with his customized Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 on the cover.

Need For Speed Unbound offers all the key elements, including a strong visual identity, illegal street racing and gambling, personal rivalries, sick car customization, and a badass soundtrack that brings back the NFS: Underground vibes back on the title which fans always wanted to have that kind of nostalgia.
