Need a New Screen That Won't Break the Bank? Acer Launches Affordable AOpen Monitor Lineup

To cater to users who want more bang for their buck, Acer has expanded their monitor range by adding the AOpen brand to their already extensive offering. Each of Acer's sub-brands caters to a specific niche - the Nitro and Predator series for gamers, the ConceptD for creators, and now, the AOpen for budget-conscious consumers.

Even with an affordable price tag, the AOpen monitors still come with an array of features that users will appreciate, such as the Acer BlueLight Shield and Flicker-less technology. They also come with a unique form of 6-axis colour adjustment for more precise colours and hues.

Leading the charge is the AOpen 24CL1Y, which is equipped with a 23.8" FHD IPS panel with a wide 178° viewing angle that retains clarity and colour even when viewerd from the side. Its recommended price is a mere RM379.

Next up is its smaller sibling, the AOpen 22CV1Q. Equipped with a 21.5" FHD VA panel, it features the basic 60Hz refresh rate or 1920x1080 FHD resolution at 75Hz refresh rate via HDMI and 5ms response time. It retails at a recommended retail price of just RM289.

For those who have a thing for curves, the AOpen 27HC5RP monitor has a 27" curved screen that features overclocking up to 165Hz via DP and up to 144Hz via HDMI, with AMD FreeSync support.

It also comes with Zero Frame design, VESA mount, and tilt adjustable stand that allow users to find their ideal viewing position. The AOpen 27HC5RP retails for a recommended price of RM699.

All 3 models are available immediately, and if you pick one up by 12 June, you can enjoy some free gifts along with your purchase:

  • AOpen 24CL1Y: Acer Vacuum Flask (worth RM39.90)
