MSI is launching the collegiate-level MGA UEL VALORANT Series, which will take place from July to September 2021. The company also announced that it is partnering with University e-League as part of its Southeast Asia collegiate program.
The Series will see a prize pool of RM5,000. It is divided into two stages: Qualifiers and Grand Finals.
The winner of the series will get to represent Malaysia at MSI’s MGA University Championship, which will involve collegiate teams from Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, and other regional territories.
Henry Chung, the Managing Director of MSI Malaysia, said “It is our ultimate goal for Malaysia with the MGA UEL VALORANT Series to provide college and university students the opportunity to directly participate in the wonderful world of esports.”
Meanwhile, Head of Partnerships at University e-League Yong-Chul Yun said, “We are thrilled to partner with a world-renowned brand to be sharing a progressive vision for nurturing a healthy esports ecosystem from the ground up.”
Registrations for the MGA UEL VALORANT Series have begun and will be open until July 4. Those interested can head to the UEL website to sign up.
