MSI CEO Charles Chiang Dead at 56 After Falling from Building

Charles Chiang Sheng Chang, CEO of Taiwanese hardware company MSI, has fallen to his death from the seventh floor of a building. He was 56.

An MSI spokesperson has since released the following statement to Tom's Hardware:

"Earlier today, MSI GM and CEO Charles Chiang passed away. Having been a part of the company for more than 20 years, he made outstanding contributions and was admired by his colleagues. Mr. Chiang was a respected leader in the MSI family, and helped pave the way for the brand’s success. We are all deeply saddened by the news, and are mourning the loss of Mr. Chiang. He will be deeply missed by the entire team."

Chiang has been with MSI for more than 2 decades since 1999 as the Vice President of Engineering, and recently transitioned to the CEO role in January 2019.


No other details about the incident have been made available yet.
