Marvel’s Midnight Suns, the tactical RPG from XCOM developer Firaxis, has been delayed.
Originally meant to release on 7 October, the game has been delayed to: “later this fiscal year”, according to the official Marvel’s Midnight Suns Twitter account. The reason for the delay was to ensure they are “delivering the best possible experience”.
Firaxis’s publisher Take-Two Interactive’s fiscal year runs until the end of March 2023. This gives the game a very wide release window.
This is the second time the game has been delayed. Originally meant to come out in March 2022, the game was pushed back to October 2022. Whether the delays indicate a troubling development, we can only hope it gives the developers enough time to polish the game.
