While the California Streaming event is slated to take place tomorrow, Apple's M1X MacBook Pro models won't be released tomorrow.
According to Mark Gurman via Wccftech, the new laptops will only "hit the shelves in the next several weeks". The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M1X chips will be released at a later date as Apple doesn't want attention away from the upcoming iPhone 13 series. Gurman claimed that products including the M1X MacBook Pro models, the AirPods, redesigned iPad mini 6, and iPad 9 are planned for later this fall.
The M1X MacBook Pro models will launch with a new flat-edged design, and will allegedly feature an HDMI port, SD card slot, and MagSafe charging. It might also come with a 1080p webcam. Meanwhile, the M1X chipset is said to sport 10 CPU cores and up to 32 GPU cores.
Nothing has been official as of now and Apple has been very quiet about the new MacBook Pro models. Stay tuned for more updates.
