GRAVITY Unveils Four New Ragnarok Titles at Global Playground Gravity Visionary 2026!

Gravity Game Tech has just captivated their audiences and fans all around the world with the latest Global Playground Gravity Visionary 2026 press conference where they made the official announcement of four brand-new game titles from the Ragnarok universe. This reveal marks a milestone for the company as it continues to reimagine and grow the universe for both older players while also bringing in a new generation of players.

GRAVITY has been rapidly growing globally and this is a result of their development in mobile, PC and console games, and the Chairman and COO of Gravity, Yoshinori Kitamura, even stated GRAVITY’s mission is to create the most exciting gaming experiences for their audiences worldwide.

Since the launch of RAGNAROK ONLINE back in 2002, GRAVITY has gone on to launch many titles in the Ragnarok franchise to users all over the world, and the series has exceeded over 200 million downloads worldwide. And with the continuous growth of the series, GRAVITY intends to step up their game and continue to expand their RO fan base in new markets, which leads to the main parts for the event.


The main announcement of the Global Playground Gravity Visionary 2026 were the four brand new Ragnarok game titles that will be releasing in 2026, those four titles are Ragnarok Abyss, Ragnarok Midgard Senki, Ragnarok The New World and Ragnarok Online 3!

The first title that was introduced during the press conference was Ragnarok Abyss, and it was shared by Jim Kim, the President of Gravity Game Tech. GRAVITY has been a company that’s been heavily involved in the Ragnarok series; With games such as Ragnarok M: Classic ranking No.1 in the major app markets in Southeast Asia after its launch, while Ragnarok Crush was voted the “Best of the Year” title in five separate Southeast Asian countries.

And 2026 would be a year where they intend to take a greater leap forward with not only the release of four new titles, but also through global expansions as well as strengthened live services.


Ragnarok Abyss

The first title that was introduced during the press conference was Ragnarok Abyss, an action-adventure MMORPG, and the game was shared by Eric Kim, the VP of Shanghai Talen Network. Ragnarok Abyss is set to be GRAVITY’s first open-world experience in the Southeast Asian market and it intends to carry forward the legacy of the Ragnarok series.

The game managed to receive good responses during the Closed Beta Test which was held in Southeast Asia and Ragnarok Abyss will support cross-platform across Android, iOS and PC devices.

In terms of the gameplay, the game will feature a similar experience to the classic Ragnarok Online game, albeit with newer skills and abilities. Not only that, but the game will also include a new PvP (Player vs Player) experience ranging from 1v1 and 3v3, and Eric Kim even mentioned that the game was planned to include a 30v30 and 50v50 mode in the future.


Asides from that, Ragnarok Abyss will also boast a PvE and MVP Boss battles with incredible 3D visuals to enhance the gaming experience.


Ragnarok Migard Senki

The next game to be announced during the event was Ragnarok Migard Senki, and it was introduced by Fengyin, the CEO of Gameale.This game is designed for more casual gamers and it highlights cute and 2D hand drawn art-style which is sure to captivate audiences.


The game makes sure that they preserve the iconic core combat scenes from Ragnarok Online, catering to players from the game. Though, some of the new features that the game plans on adding includes a competitive mode with their new PvP and PvE mode.

And in terms of the game characteristics, they’ve included resource gathering, character upgrading, an upgrade system and even a pet-catching feature that will allow players to capture their favourite pets and have them assist them in battle.


Fengyin also stated that Migard Senki is meant for a fun, non-pay-to-win experience for players, and that all the items in the game can be obtained via the marketplace and the auction.


Ragnarok The New World

Next up, the third game that was introduced at the press conference was Ragnarok The New World, and it was presented by He Yang, Senior Vice President of 37 Interactive Entertainment.


According to He Yang, the game comes with many new upgrades in order to help reduce player burdens and allow them to have a superior gaming experience. Some of the core features of the game comes with a seamless 2km x 2km open map, which is the first time it is being implemented in a mobile RO title) as well as replicating the legendary 193 ASPD, allowing players to deal 7 attacks per second.

The new title has also announced that it delivers a rich and highly refined (GvG) Guild vs Guild experience, recreating the GvG siege battles from the PC versions. This also includes the new diverse guild battle modes such as Guild League, offering a variety of combat experiences for players.


And another highlight that players can look forward to would be that it supports full DIY customisation, allowing players to customise their character and their outfits to best suit their appearance.


Ragnarok The New World also announced that they will be introducing a brand new 7th class in the game, the Gunslinger which comes with powerful long-range abilities to support their team.

Ragnarok Online 3

Finally, the last game which was introduced at the Global Playground Gravity Visionary 2026 was Ragnarok Online 3! The game was presented by the CEO of JoyMaker, Steven Shi. As the name suggests, Ragnarok Online 3 is based on the classic Ragnarok Online game, and this includes the chibi 3D character models as well as key cosmetic elements in the game, such as the scenes and environment of the game.


According to Steven, they developed the game wanting to fully retain the ‘classic RO flavour’ that everyone remembers while also catering to newer audiences with some of the newer features that they included in the game.

One of the biggest changes made to the game would be the gameplay, with Ragnarok 3 wanting to address the flaws in most traditional MMORPG games, which is late-game stat inflation and a spike in difficulty for newer entries to the game. So, in order to tackle this issue, the game will be introducing a seasonal system, which will make the game both fun and fair for older and younger players.

Asides from that, Ragnarok 3 will also be including the Siege game mode, which features a 1500x1500 Ultra Large Map and supports up to 1500 players battling in real time. With this, guilds will first engage in a chaotic struggle for outposts, which leads to a final showdown within the capital.
