Imagine Dragons and J.I.D Team Up for Arcane's Soundtrack "Enemy", Animated Video Out Now

Grammy-winning band, Imagine Dragons has teamed up with Grammy nominee rapper J.I.D to release a new single for Riot Games' League of Legends animated series - Enemy. The electrifying song examines living with conflict, both internal and external, with Dan Reynolds delivering the first two emotional verses while J.I.D's rap took the third.

The creators of League of Legends have created an animated video for "Enemy", bringing the band and the rapper into the world of the series' iconic characters, Jinx and Vi. "'Enemy' is about reconciling internal conflict in a world where it feels impossible to trust even yourself," Reynolds explained. "In Arcane, two sisters' lives take them on different paths and lead to a division that threatens to tear an entire city apart. Like the series, the song is meant to be both personal and a critique of a society that seems intent on creating division."

"Enemy" was produced by Swedish songwriter/producer duo Mattman and Robin, who also produced two tracks in Imagine Dragons' new album, Mercury - Act 1. It was mixed by 14-time Grammy winner Serban Ghenea.

In addition, Imagine Dragons will start their North America tour in early 2022, starting off at FTX Arena in Miami on 6 February and concluding at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona on 14 March.
