7 fantastic features for the Nova 7 series. Alliteration has always been the key to crafting catchy marketing spiels, so it's no surprise that HUAWEI has decided to spotlight 7 features to get consumers excited about the HUAWEI Nova 7 series' arrival.
1. Stylish colours
Nowadays, it seems that brands are coming up with newer and better ways to make their phone's aesthetics stand out on the market. The HUAWEI Nova 7 series is clad in a unique three-colour gradient finish that reflects light differently from different perspectives. While this isn't exactly game-changing, the promo photos certainly look very enticing, especially if you're a fan of iridescent pastels. Colours in the series include Space Silver, Midsummer Purple, and Crush Green.
2. Lightweight
HUAWEI claims that the Nova 7 series phones are 'lighter than your makeup', which I'm not sure refers to the great wall of China slathered onto your face, or the compact powder case you carry in your handbag. Although this claim seems slightly dubious when taken literally, HUAWEI has certainly gotten the point across - at 189g, the Nova 7 SE isn't going to be a brick in your bag with its thin and lightweight chassis.
3. 64MP AI quad camera
The camera is arguably the most important aspect for a large majority of people, and the Nova 7 series promises top quality photography supported by its powerful Kirin 820 processor and strong AI capabilities. The quad camera consists of a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP bokeh lens. The front camera is a 16MP f/2.0 lens which supports Super Night Selfie 2.0 for lowlight selfie captures. You'll also be able to enjoy 4K video recording.
4. Dual-view video mode
This feature is actually pretty interesting - it allows you to record using the front and back cameras simultaneously, which sounds like a practical feature for people who are fond of taking Instastories. Now, instead of trying to flailing around trying to record everything behind your head, you can record your first-person view and reactions at the same time.
5. 40W SuperCharge
The HUAWEI Nova 7 series packs a 4,000mAh battery with 40W SuperCharge, which allows you to top up your battery to 70% within a mere half hour - what's not to like?
6. Malaysia's most affordable 5G smartphone
HUAWEI claims that the Nova 7 series will be the first mid-range smartphone in Malaysia to be equipped with 5G technology. While the price has yet to be disclosed, HUAWEI teases that it will debut at above RM1,000 (though that's not really narrowing it down much). They did promise that it offers a premium experience at an affordable price though, so that's something to look forward to.
7. Sharing made easy with HUAWEI Share and MEETime
Finally, of course the Nova 7 series will come with HUAWEI Share and MEETime, which are super handy apps to have. HUAWEI Share allows you to drag files between devices with ease, while MEETime supports 1080p video calls between HUAWEI devices.
