Huawei has announced six new products, which include notebooks, watches, and earbuds.
The notebooks are the Huawei MateBook X and the Huawei MateBook 14. The MateBook X features the borderless and multitouch-enabled 3K infinite FullView Display 10, and is powered by a 10th Gen Intel Core processor, either i5 or i7.
The MateBook X also has a touchpad which offers full haptic feedback as well as easy access to the Multi-screen Collaboration 11 feature. The latter allows users to perform functions like controlling the notebook and a paired smartphone on a single screen or editing files on the smartphone via the notebook. In addition, the MateBook X is Huawei’s first WiFi 6-capable notebook.
Meanwhile, the Huawei MateBook 14 has a 2K Huawei FullView Display 14, smart feature support, and Huawei Shark Fin Fans. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen 4000 H Series processor, with the R7 4800H and R5 4600H as choices. It also has the Multi-screen Collaboration feature.
As for the earbuds, the Huawei FreeBuds Pro are described as “the world’s first true wireless stereo” earphones. Depending on the type of ambient noise, they switch between General, Cosy, and Ultimate profiles to perform noise-cancelling. They offer Dual Connection with Android, iOS, and Windows smart systems, as well as gesture control that lets users control the earphones via swiping or pinching the cubic earphone stem.
As for the Huawei FreeLace Pro, it has a pair of 14mm aluminium-magnesium alloy dynamic drivers with bass tubes and can last an entire day on a full charge. A five-minute charge is apparently enough for it to play five hours of sustained music playback.
Finally, the Huawei Watch family is joined by the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro and the Huawei Watch Fit. The GT 2 Pro offers up to two weeks of battery life, over 100 workout modes including snowboarding and Cross Country Skiing, and fitness data tracking features. It also supports apps.
As for the Watch Fit, it has a 1.64-inch AMOLED display and features Huawei’s upgraded TruSeen 4.0 heart rate technology. It supports Quick-workout Animations 5, which combines 44 standard fitness routines into 12 animations, and provides 13 running classes for joggers. It also has 96 workout modes, built-in GPS, and 5ATM water resistance. The battery can last for 10 days typically, and Huawei also says that its fast charging allows a mere five minutes of charging to power the watch for an entire day of “typical use”.
