There are still a couple of weeks before Crysis Remastered comes out on PC. In the mean time, you can now check out the system requirements for the game on Epic Games Store (or below) to seek the answer to that classic question: Can it run Crysis?
Fortunately, you won’t need an RTX 2080 Ti or one of the new NVIDIA 30-series cards to play Crysis Remastered. However, according to a comment by Digital Foundry’s John Linneman on Eurogamer, there will be a cheekily-named “Can You Run Crysis” mode with “ray tracing cranked way up” and other features that will cause even a 2080 Ti with a capable CPU to struggle. So, players will still be able to challenge their PC if they wish.
Crysis Remastered will release on Epic Games Store on 18 September, and will also come to PS4 and Xbox One on the same date. It is already available on Nintendo Switch.
