Halo Infinite to Launch on 8 December

After a year of delay, Microsoft has confirmed that Halo Infinite will launch on 8 December this year.

Developer 343 Industries confirmed that campaign co-op and the Forge mode won't be available at launch as the studio is focusing on the single-player campaign and multiplayer modes. "Unfortunately, as we focused the team for shutdown and really focused on a quality experience for launch, we made the really tough decision to delay shipping campaign co-op for launch," said Joseph Staten, Head of Creative for Halo Infinite. "We also made the tough call to delay shipping Forge past launch as well."

Co-op is expected to arrive in season two of the game, approximately three months after the launch. Meanwhile, the Forge mode will only be available from the third season.
